I'm Alexander Albao, an interaction designer driven by curiosity and guided by empathy. Through my own identity journey and career transitions, I discovered design: a field where problem-solving is the root of the process. I’ve built my foundation in Interaction Design at Santa Monica College and have developed skills spanning Design Thinking, Project Management, Graphic Design, and Brand Identity.

As an Emergency Department Care Partner at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, I've learned the importance of compassionate communication, spatial awareness, and patience under pressure. My goal is to immerse myself in professional design practice while exploring freelance work and creative code as forms of expression.

I bridge gaps with design research and connect dots through iteration, finding the throughline between stakeholder vision and user needs. My best work comes from understanding who I'm designing for and designing experiences that empower them. Through my shared journey, I hope others find inspiration, strategies, and a path forward.
