Success Metrics
KPI's
Defined success metrics measuring communication effecti-veness, team engagement, meeting participation, and weekly deliverable quality through centralized Slack project management features to ensure accountability and improved collaboration.
Achieved rapid response communication standards and weekly assignment completion tracking by leveraging systematic Slack project management processes that enhanced team accessibility and streamlined organization.
Iterative Process
Challenge
Initial feedback: inability to define user success metrics for children
Scope of needs too broad across diverse user range
Product feature set was unfocused and overwhelming
Workshop
Conduct team heat mapping exercise
Narrowed problem identification and prioritization process with current research and proposals
Team discussion on singular problem definition
Outcome
Focus: Relationship building between child and support network
Product Solution: Smart watch with integrated fidget device
Key Function: Real-time biometric and self-regulation data sharing with caregivers, clinicians, and educators
User Testing & Feedback Collection
Facilitated interview rounds with industry professionals
Recorded feedback for physical and digital components
Practice iterative design cycles based on feedback and usability insights
Sketches of UI pages
Final Deliverable Prep
Developed storyboards through iterative process while highlighting the feedback system for effective use case story telling
Created a brand guideline sheet establishing visual identity allowing for design consistency across digital and product platforms
Produced future roadmap outlining strategic development phases and opportunities for UGLOO
Iterative design process of storyboard highlighting UGLOO feedback system
Refelction
I liked that our team was able to deliver a system that helps children become aware of their behaviors and communicate biometrics to their caregivers.
I wish we had the ability to have a high fidelity tangible product. It would have given a chance for another round of insightful user research.
I wonder if the UGLOO system could leverage personalized metrics and feedback to deliver tailored care experiences that foster the child's self-actualization journey.
